I spent the night in West Melbourne, FL last night so I could give plasma today. That was the closest donation center in the area. I need to be in Daytona tomorrow morning to do a blood draw for my study. I forgot to mention that I finished another solar class while I was in my study, another notch on my belt.
On my way up North I stopped at Valiant Air Command, Warbird Museum. I wasn’t expecting more than a small Air Force museum, but I was really impressed. It was $25 to get in, so pretty expensive, but it was interesting. They had a lot more on display than I expected. Some of the highlights were the only flying twin mustang in the world, F-14, F-16, F-18, and the SBD Dauntless that was restored from the bottom of Lake Michigan. It started pouring rain when I was in one of the side hangers. I got soaked running back to the main hanger.
