So, I’ve been bouncing around Denver since my last post. I’ve been trying to get as many rounds of frolf in before it gets cold. I’ve been to most of the 18 hole courses around the metro and Adams Hollow Disc Golf Course is probably my favorite. On the 10th I played a couple rounds there and then went to the Adams Country Veterans Memorial. It is built to look like a battleship.
On to the 13th. I woke up and decided to go see Wings Over the Rockies air museum. This was a really well done air museum in the middle of Denver. They had a B-52 parked over the entrance of the building. Inside the exhibits were all Vietnam era and later. The highlights were the B1, one of my favorites, the nuclear bombs and ordnance, Mig-23, Dream Chaser space plane, Sonic Arrow land speed record car, and a replica X-Wing. It was well worth the $19 entry fee.
