On my way to Kansas City, I stopped in St. Louis for an early supper at Kreis’ Steakhouse. They are rated to have one of the best prime ribs in the country. I knew it wasn’t going to be cheap, but I haven’t splurged in a while. The place was very fancy. The waiters are in suits, there are a group of people standing by the kitchen door watching for drink refills or if anyone needs anything.

I got my steak and it was beautiful and took up the whole plate. I had asparagus as my side. The steak was fork tender and super juicy. It’s definitely one of the best pieces of prime rib I’ve ever had. After I finished eating I ordered a glass of 24 year port and sipped on that as I digested. The bill was around $75, but it was worth it.

After eating I headed toward Kansas City. This entire stretch of interstate was under construction and down to one lane. It made the trip way more annoying and longer than it should’ve.
